Innovation Solutions iSplay, is a cost effective, but greatly powerful DMX controller that can be used for a multitude of applications or fixes. This lighting controller is designed to be reliable and tamper free with its lack of buttons once its mode is set via USB it only operates how you intend. The unit has DMX input and output, USB setup connection and software enabled external trigger inputs, as well as a direct mains input. avoiding the requirement for external PSU's.
The unit can be used in the following modes, as well as some possible combinations.
Stand Alone Replay
The unit can be programmed either via our software or combined with your favourite lighting desk to capture states to play back various complexity of lighting sequences, once disconnected from the PC, the box will perform this sequence along with any combinations of loops every time it is powered up.
Scheduled Replay
The unit will perform cue 1 on power up, and run as in stand alone mode, but will jump to any cue at a specific time / date as programmed in the schedule. This could include memories to power on contactors or lamps, and lamp off commands for end of night shut downs. As well as specific programmed lighting for particular times of the day or individual days of the year.
Theatre / Live Mode
With a PC attached the unit can run like a conventional lighting desk with a cue stack monitor able on the PC's screen, enabling you to select the cues you wish to go to, or simply play through the stack. The external triggers could be used to provide a direct GO button, and this mode would still work if the PC is disconnected as all the cues are stored in the controller not the PC like DMX dongles !
Backup Mode
The controller can be linked in line with your larger desk and used to monitor the DMX data, in the event that your desk crashed and failed to output DMX the unit can either automatically or manually take over and operation in either theatre or standalone mode. As this unit uses a change over relay for DMX in the event that power failed to the replay unit it would not cause a failure to your DMX data from you main desk.
Trigger mode,
External triggers can be used with most modes, you enable these in the software so only to allow the amount of user interference that you want. They allow you to jump to specific memories, or Go forward 1 cue, back 1 cue or pause a current operation.
